Clinic CRYOTHERAPY OF UTERUS

Freezing The Endometrium by Cryoablation Technique

Many women have severe menstrual pain and bleeding and, sometimes, bleeding is not normal. In the past, the only treatment method was to use hormone or hysterectomy. Today, using modern techniques such as (RF & cryoablation) , the endometrium that causes severe bleeding can be destroyed with very low side effects, and on an outpatient basis.

Hwo is cryoablation performed

Cryoprobe will be inserted into the uterus through the vagina under ultrasound guidance. Once cryoprobe is placed in contact with the uterus and activated, a ring of frozen tissue will be quickly formed and spread that destroys the endometrium.

Priority of cryoablation over surgery
This procedure is performed on an outpatient basis and in a very short time. It requires a very light anesthesia and the patient can return to daily activities in the shortest time possible.
In other methods such as the use of hormones, curettage, and hysterectomy, the treatment response will be weaker and longer.
