Digital Radiology
Radiology is one of the X-ray medial imaging techniques that prepares the required image by radiating X-ray to the target area of the body.
Radiography has different types the most basic type of which is simple radiography.
Recently, a new type of radiography or X-ray imaging is used called digital radiography or radiology. In this type of radiography, film is not used and the prepared image of the patient can be seen on a computer screen.
sometimes during X-ray, some certain substance is injected or fed to the patients. This method is called color radiographic imaging. Color radiography is used for detecting some lesions more accurately.
High speed of image preparation
Reduced costs thanks to the elimination of cassettes and film processing
Archiving images and copying videos possible with greater ease
Radiologists access to the images immediately after imaging is performed
Sending images to other medical centers over the internet
Adjusting images by zooming, changing the contrast, or marking for more accurate reports
Full digital radiology has much lower error rate than simple radiology because based on the devices internal software, radiation dose and all imaging parameters are adjusted and optimized automatically or semi-automatically and the trace on detector simultaneously controls the output light intensity. It will not only reduce the radiation dose and eliminate the repetitions of imaging, but also create a very favorable image.
